Last year, United Way-supported programs helped 479 adults and adolescents start on their way to a new sober life with the help of substance abuse treatment programs.


 

United Way of Atlantic County is a local, nonprofit organization that aligns the investment of available financial and volunteer resources with the community’s health and human service needs.

United Way of Atlantic County conducts an annual community fundraising campaign to support programs that provide basic needs and self sufficiency, support community health issues, foster safer homes and neighborhoods, reduce substance abuse, and promote mental wellness. Volunteers closely monitor these programs to ensure effective and efficient use of donor dollars.

Each year, United Way-funded programs touch the lives of over 100,000 people in Atlantic County and create a stronger future for our community.
