The Women’s Leadership Initiative

The Women’s Leadership Initiative of the United Way of Atlantic County is made up of women who are corporate, civic and community leaders who are working together to improve the quality of life for young children and their families in Atlantic County through leadership, philanthropy, and advocacy.

Membership in the Women’s Leadership Initiative requires a minimum annual donation of $500. All contributions will benefit Success By 6, the early childhood initiative of United Way of Atlantic County. The Women’s Leadership Initiative raises the profile of women in philanthropy and also allows them to play a key role in addressing the critical needs of children in Atlantic County.

The Women’s Leadership Initiative is committed to improving the conditions of children’s lives. All contributions will directly support Success By 6. The goal of Success By 6 is to ensure that infants and preschool children become emotionally, socially, medically, and educationally prepared for school and life. Since 1995, Success By 6 has partnered with all sectors of the community to create a web of services that will make a positive impact on the lives of children ages 0-6.
