The Institute for Community Development of Southern New Jersey (ICD) is a collaborative endeavor between United Way of Atlantic County, The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and Atlantic Cape Community College to address the training, resource and technical assistance needs of the regional nonprofit and civic community.

Recognizing that strong nonprofits are the cornerstone of strong communities, our goal is to support and help sustain the nonprofit community in Atlantic and Cape May Counties.

Through our combined resources, United Way of Atlantic County, The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and Atlantic Cape Community College are committed to providing the region with local access to the tools needed to build strong and resilient community organizations.   The ICD is committed to strengthening the organizational capacity of nonprofits and community-based entities in southern New Jersey. The ICD strives to be a recognized leader in the cultivation of organizationally sound nonprofits and community-based entities throughout Atlantic and Cape May Counties.

To strengthen the organizational capacity of nonprofits and community based entities in southern New Jersey in order to promote their organizational sustainability and achieve community resiliency.
